AVOIDANCE OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Under the rules of professional conduct, lawyers are prohibited from representing conflicting interests (Sec. 43a(4) BRAO). Before accepting any mandate, we therefore always check whether a conflict of interest exists.
OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, out-of-court dispute resolution is available upon application before the competent regional bar association (pursuant to Sec. 73(2) No. 3 in conjunction with Sec. 73(5) BRAO) or before the Arbitration Board of the Legal Profession (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft) at the German Federal Bar (Sec. 191f BRAO), which can be found on the website of the German Federal Bar (www.brak.de or by email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de).
CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION
NIETZER® . Rechtsanwälte does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
