Under the title "G24 – Gründen in 24 Stunden" (incorporating within 24 hours), the economics ministries of North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin and Bavaria together with the Ministry of Justice of North Rhine-Westphalia have drawn up a detailed concept for a Formation Acceleration Act (Gründungsbeschleunigungsgesetz). The aim is to fully automate administrative checks in future and to issue decisions in real time. Implementation at federal level is envisaged by the end of the current legislative period.

The formation process in Germany has so far been highly fragmented and involves numerous bodies such as trade offices, tax offices, register courts, chambers and social insurance institutions. "G24" therefore relies on a digital business notification, parallel procedures and central back-end coordination. Standard cases, for example, are to be checked automatically on the basis of existing register data.

In parallel, the European approach "EU Inc." demonstrates the competitive pressure, with the goal of formation within 48 hours.
